What an album! Actually my Metal times were for 10 years past, but with System of a Down I relapsed. Even their previous albums are outstanding and of a quality in the Arangements which found nowhere else at a nu-metal / crossover (whatever) band or are to be expected. Mezmerize is there again a top (and makes looking forward to the second disc of the delayed double album of the four Armenian descent from LA). Who now thinks SOAD but are just for tough guys who think coming. To be, where you just have to sing Although a fly even with Mezmerize again the riffs and powerful drums around the ears, only to the same melodic, sometimes even "Pop Art-" choruses eingholt. I find SOAD have her delivered with Mezmerize far their best album, it's been a long time since an album so in the long run rotation at me. The only drawback is the guitarist (main songwriter) Malakian in some songs too often singer Tankian drowned himself. Although this does not sing bad (cf.. Lost in Hollywood), but a feature of the band is the very unconventional singing of actual frontman. My favorite songs on the album: BYOB Radio / Video Lost in Hollywood Conclusion: For SOAD fans a must for career changers highly recommended
