If the texts are more sought after and more engaged, sometimes with a touch of humor, phrasing and melodies quickly become tiresome. Yet it is not for lack of experimentation but no song really stands out melodically and arrangements, though not uninteresting, do not involve as much as those of Aiki Taiso.
So what's missing? What makes the album so warm? May be a post-production draft and a lack of "refining", almost evident on tracks like "Dragon vs Phoenix" which was later reworked and much better than the album version.
In short, not bad in itself but too warm on the first album.
