I had first ordered the Betasub 20, but went back as it was still too weak to me.
When I had the Betasub 30A connected in my possession and I was more than excited.
The volume on the sub is not even half psyched and when I turn up the music then goes off the post properly. Even in films earthquake is announced (luckily no tenants underneath). The bass is very clean, over Knallhart and without distorting.
I run it with a Pioneer VSX-923rd My old Sub always turned on Auto Setup to -6 dB, the Betasub 30a now to +8 dB.
My living room is about 25 square meters and at the highest point 3.5 m high.
Since firing subwoofer downwards it is not unimportant what floor you have in the room. I have concrete ceiling with tiles on top of it (apparently ideal). If carpet or wood floor should be placed a stone slab under it.
The processing of the case, I find also very good.
I found it just a shame that it does not exist in silver, have now repainted it.
I can only recommend the Betasub 30a !!!
