Have the WNCE2001 unpacked, it is quite small and has accompanied all necessary cables.
The device I have connected as described, USB power connection to the receiver and networking also. Shortly after the WNCE2001 and the router pressed the WPS button. After about 15 seconds, the devices are in agreement and are on WiFi. In between times I've a repeater to bridge longer distances wireless, switched -> works, combined with 117 Mbit. But DHCP should in-house network, initially at least be active. You can later switch the unit on manual IP, can be accomplished through the browser. Further adjustments are possible, the device could also serve as a DHCP server. Have later times my PC from the LAN separated from fun and WNCE2001 connected to the LAN port of the PC, after about 10 seconds my PC in the WLAN was active. Amazingly, accepts the WNCE2001 after some time the IP of the device, which is incorporated into the WLAN.
Actually, each device can be in the Wi-Fi integrated (TV, Game Console, Computer etc.), it has only a RJ45 - connection and possibly a USB have (to power). If no USB available, you can use the included AC adapter. Then a socket must be freely halt then. If the routers do not support WPS, you can configure the WNCE2001 a menu manually. The menu pops as soon as you connect the unconfigured WNCE2001 to a computer.
The device supports the following points:
* Connect to 2.4GHz wireless access points, gateways and routers
* Push 'N' with Wi-Fi Protected Setup to the router (simple and good)
* WPA2-PSK, WPA-PSK and WEP
* Support Home AV equipment
* Supports IEEE 802.11n version 2.0, IEEE 802.11g, IEEE 802.11b, 2.4 GHz
Conclusion -> very simple, very fast.
