What I found particularly well thought out:
- Look for whole device version silver with silver ipod.
- Adjust the level of light intensity for the time display, 4 levels which completely off (but in this case visible in daylight or if the room is lit).
- Sleep function (4 levels 90, 60, 30, 15 minutes) to fall asleep with the radio or music (I just wish that it starts with 15 minutes and not the reverse).
- In alarm function: 2 programmable alarms each with its own settings, time setting very intuitive alarm clock, ipod choice or radio or buzzer, if we choose the radio (my case) is chosen among the 20 radio and not the last played (important to me), volume for the alarm via radio or iPod, and again this is not the last selected volume (important if during the day you used the station).
- Possibility to use the device in the dark intuitively once you know the keys (a small roughness present on the button activating the iPod and another on flight + button allow to identify), also the change in intensity via the large central button is very easy.
- One more: the single remote control I use little.
- Overall sound quality of the device in radio mode as in iPod mode.
Major faults:
- Lack of RDS.
- The time setting is not radio-controlled (ie auto, though a button battery will keep the time setting in case of power failure.).
