Hammer Game + easy installation = pure fun

In this review, I would like not so much go into the game and on the content of the game. Rather, I want to share my experience on how to install, the game stability and the additional content with you.

For the Game or content:

It is the first game of Bioware, I have purchased and played. And I must say: "it has definitely paid off." I have not yet fully played out, but already certain: it is the best RPG I have ever played. It has completely exceeded my expectations. I have rarely experienced such good dialogue and characters and even rarely pondered so long about my decisions.
Now, on a more complete Game Description I want to do without at this point, especially since this was published in various test reports (just google).

To install, game stability, additional content:

First likely some (has which are not so easily folded) to be interested in my system components. This I have listed below.

After I purchased the game for sale, I have a quick look in the manual risked around (roughly) with the installation of the game along with additional content to familiarize yourself. I placed the DVD1, only DirectX installed and then the main game.
At this point I would like to point out that I have next to my normal 2 still a virtual drive (created by Daemon Tools Lite). This virtual drive had to be removed (contrary to some reviews) NOT, neither during installation, nocht playing!
During installation, you will (as far as one does not reject) led to BioWare page, where you will be asked to create an account (or log in if you already have an account). After creating an account, you have to enter the code for additional content, they are activated in the account immediately.
During the installation you will be asked to insert the DVD2, ... Installation ready. (Without complications)

After installation, you start the game. In the lower left corner (in the main menu), click on "Login" and logs on with the account data that you just created. Now you get a message that you are logged in. All additional content is activated immediately, you also need an Internet connection more, the contents remain active forever.

Important Notes:

1. The additional content must / should not downloaded, but only be activated via the account. The contents are already on the DVD and can be installed during the main installation. (In some negative reviews will be published, that you had the additional content from Bioware server Download 12h long ???)

2. The game and all additional content regarding the version up to date (v1.04) and must / should be nich yet patched.

3. My Dragon Age: Origins Inhaltsupdater (in Taskmanager-> Services-> services ...) was (or is) from the beginning set to "manual". By this I also need to change anything. With several players but this had to be changed to automatically because there were problems with the activation of additional content.

I have the game already played several days without a single crash or error and the. On highest settings All additional content I have already alluded to for testing purposes, this function properly.

Before now again begin meaningless discussions (especially on the part of ki ... 402):
I want to offend any of my review and have just described as simple and easy, it worked for me. If some players have problems with irgenwelche crashes, additional content, etc., so I think that where. However, everyone should at least ask the question, what the problem may be, before the game for stamping as bananas software. Finally, it works with most, and each certainly has the same software on the DVD, as long as you have these legally acquired.

However, when one reads such statements as: "I had problems with the virtual drive, I had problems with the copy protection, etc.", it is anyway clear where the problem lies.

At the EA support I can not say anything because I (thankfully) did not need to avail this service. The users, who complain about the support, I think just to be happy. I can well imagine that you do not get clever means of EA. So it is but unfortunately for most game developers. Whether you avoid all products from such manufacturers / distributors in the future, each is left to itself.

Personally, I do not regret the purchase and look forward to March when Dragon Age 2 comes out.
