This platform is strong enough for a hobby use (low intensity use). I have not yet used as a scale, so no opinion on that aspect of the tool. The assembly takes only 30 minutes (the first time, after we know how to do it and it's faster). Nothing complicated. Once disassembled, the storage takes up little space. As a platform, I find that it lacks a little depth, so watch your feet while you work. It must also be careful when you're not on it too much lateral movement (left-right), that motion a little ... In the front-rear direction (depth) is more stable. The 4 feet give overall satisfactory stability. I am mainly used for the size of relatively high hedges. So I positioned the platform at the penultimate level. The more complicated in this case is to access the platform. I had to jointly use a stepladder to get there. Because by one side galley amount was too up and down frequently (regularly move to the platform). Last convenience, all mounted the platform moves smoothly because it is not heavy on the shoulder by holding it with his arm. And yet I am not a big burly.
