=> Weighs up to 2kg with graduations per 20g (it is not made for weighing 5g, the distance between two graduations is only 0.1 cm so no worries to weigh example 20g, 30g, 250g or sugar but if you need to weigh 5g, 10g or 345g for example close to 5g, go your way.)
=> The White container is seen in the photo comes with, it has a capacity of 1 liter (that bowl handy). It can be removed if you prefer to use another container, the top of the scale is not flat worries. In the photo we see standing container but when you dock the balance, we return the container that will cover office. The plastic container can be washed in the dishwasher.
=> Simple Manual Tare of use: You weigh 300g flour for example. Then you have to add 100g sugar. No need to remove the flour, simply turn up the dial (the base where we put the container) to put the needle on 0g. We can do it again as many times you want, just think back to the needle to 0 before weighing every new ingredient.
=> Do not take place (diameter 18cm and 8cm tall) and very light (325g with the container, 240g without container).
It's always helpful to have a mechanical balance, ie which does not need anything to work (no need for batteries or electricity). Personally, I have two scales, digital scales stack that is much more precise and I bought this as a troubleshooting balance scale. At least, if one day the batteries in my other balance let go, I'll always have this one. And worse, despite its light weight, it looks good.
For me the only weak point of this balance is if I have to weigh something close to 5 or 10g, it is clearly not made for that. But for the kitchen, and at this price, this is perfect.
