After a good month in use, I venture slowly to a review. I have really been waiting for a practical camera like the GX 7. They met about 99% of my requests, please feels high-quality and provides lightning fast sharp; this also with the quite good and inexpensive kit lens 14-42 II The equipment is really at a very high level. IBIS (for all non-image stabilized lenses), EV, Wifi, Focus Peaking, Touch screen, spirit level to name a few. The menu is logically structured so that, for example, also Olympus users to find their way very fast. One need but a few days the functionality also understand if you did not enter Panasonic previously. The service is top-notch and the most important functions such as electronic shutter can still save on the favorite button to be able to react quickly. It can also store up to 5 configurations for camera settings to the buttons C1 to C3 are stored. Currently I have there with an open aperture portrait, landscape, of course, saved with a soft effect and landscape with sharp blue sky in different formats. So I can quickly make 3 to four images of the same motif and choose the best one later. The picture quality is to about 1600 - 3200 ISO already in JPG very well. However, I can not compare with other current cameras and leave this to the experts it. As lenses I use the Oly 9-18, the Lumix 20mm, the fantastic M Zuiko 45mm, the M Zuiko 14- 150, and more recently the Oly 60mm f2.8 macro. I am sure to use the camera for a few years and give full marks.
update from 2.12.13: here my settings I mostly use: standard, +2 Contrast, Sharpness + 2, saturation +0, NR -2. With monochrome (super bad weather) I take portraits in the green filter in addition of course to reflect the skin tones, or the red filter for landscapes. Updated on 05/01/2015 use for several months even more often an Olympus OMD 10. It's hard to say which of the two really better. However, my JPG's appear more natural in Olympus. Who is shooting in RAW notice any big difference. A great advantage of Panasonic is the clearer menu as this is logically constructed by Olympus.
