First of all, the scope of supply includes two brackets. Once with pipe clamp to secure the cam for example the bicycle handlebar. Once to fix the cam with the included straps somewhere off. Bands are plentiful, with not quite open up with the sense of the rubber band. Also, the Velcro is rather useless in the enclosed form. For this offer, the holders good and very flexible settings and, contrary to expectations, a good strength. Unfortunately, there is a possibility that Cam to consolidate eg on the head.
Handling:
The cam has "only" 3 buttons, which should make the operation actually simple. However, there is at the end of so many combinations of these buttons, it will quickly confusing. However, since only applies to the basic settings that you indeed performs only once. And for these settings you need in any case the instructions for use (so be sure to pick up). For the small screen, it is due to that the menu items are provided with codes that are not self-explanatory. So you have to look in the manual, even if what wants / needs to adjust.
The operation for picking up works well. The buttons can be due to the location and the different size well sensing (probably even with gloves). Each key press is acknowledged with a tone that each function has a different sound (beep, beep double, etc.)
The recordings to draw on the computer is actually very simple ...... if you know how it goes. Here you have the manual completely forgotten that there are also people who work for example with MAC. The manual is aimed exclusively at PC, the service is absolutely MAC user unfriendly.
Picture:
So frankly for a Full HD camcorder, I had a much better picture expected. The picture is not bad, but is not an HD justice. Usually the image is quite grainy, even if actually enough light is present. And light the camera needs a lot. I screwed my camera in my morning bike ride on the handlebars and rode through the dusk (It was just so bright that you needed no light) But the recording was black. It was only when I went back into the city, you could back the lights in the windows look, but overall too dark.
Later, I fly a kite and let the film. Blue sky with a few clouds, sunshine. As long as the cam was pointed at the sky, everything was on the ground almost black. Only when you have the camera pointed at the ground, we got out a halfway decent exposure. However, it needs a relatively long time for adjusting the exposure. I imagine there before a fast downhill run through forests and meadows. I'm afraid there is the Cam overwhelmed by the rapid changes from light to dark.
Unfortunately, there is no support for aligning the camera so that it is difficult to position the camera so (if possible) that they exposed reasonable. In addition, filming always a little in Blue: The FishEye similar lens that is not sooo problem. One will get the subject what you want to film already. But you have aligned not always right on the thick of the camera, which has sometimes bothers me.
Sound:
It depends on what you value. I tested three different situations:
1. on the bike: Here you can hear every operation on the bicycle, for example, switch. However, you hardly hear any, or wind noise. In this area, I was quite impressed.
2. In the rehearsal on drums: Yeah, I wanted to see how the Cam 'really loud' deal with (full-throttle Aufdiefresse rock). And that makes it very good! As I said, I play drums and have the cam mounted on my thigh. I had expected crack of porridge. But no, it was a very clear and detailed sound that would have even helped us for analysis.
3. In the Office: Where the Cam now so convincingly deal with a noisy environment, I wanted to know how they deal with soft things. Aha, here is the weak point. Did the Cam situated in the office and filmed a conversation at a normal volume in 5m distance. There were no other ambient noise. The conversation could not be heard on the video (at full volume). It was heard that was said, but it is incomprehensible.
Conclusion:
With a bit of inventiveness when it comes to fixing one can with the Hyundai Cam quite have his fun. However, I would expect for the price and the statement "HD" a bit more. I would not advise against buying, but a strong buy recommendation I do not want to give too. Everyone needs to decide for themselves.
