The cap does not fulfill all your purpose, after masking the revolving plate folds with special adhesive tape no longer draws the hood really only through the filter and whistling too. Not even the corners are welded.
Good filters are which can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
As said by Bosch expects one I think more.
