Have fun - short-lived ...

I chose as Heli newcomer after many long search for the ACME Zoopa 350 because it has a "cool look", looks very robust due to aluminum body, is not too small, and price, of course, stands out; a Micro or Coax Heli came not at first questioned ... If already, because already! ; O)

I was aware that I would initially might assume with the Zoopa 350 Heli bissel, but "I'm a fast learner," and looking for a challenge to grow in the helicopter and have for months a lot of fun, until a next larger model out of the question.

The first flights were surprisingly good, albeit briefly, since the helicopter hung very good-natured in the air; after a few clicks of the trims I could start the heli out of hand and hold alone by Throttle virtually on the spot. The slight drifts could be offset by gently counter-steering, the rear float (in 5 x 3 square meter bedroom) I had after the fourth flight already about under control; all the best! : OD

So I had an ACME ordered me 1000 mAh battery Tuning, which unfortunately was only a single application; because was empty flown as this battery (about 12 min), I have the freshly charged 850 mAh battery which reinstated and wanted to start, but the wool has remained ...: o ~

The helicopter could not initialize after switching on, that is, the bug LED shone bright, the receiver LED lit up red, but the servos on the swash plate drove in their respective stop position, after which the helicopter responded more to no control command; mechanically everything was great, but the receiver or the electronics had given up the ghost after the seventh or eighth flight ... What a pity! : O \

Even a fresh battery in the helicopter, new batteries in the remote control and multiple off / on have not helped, the helicopter did not want more; except a shrug of the servos when turning to let the Heli not elicit further.

So I turned in an email to support of ACME who has immediately and very friendly responsive and sent me the phone number of a technician; this high praise !, although I had then but decided in the meantime (for the weekend) to return the helicopter and switch to a different model of the same price class, for which there is a large spare and tuning parts market.

However, should it be possible to Zoopa 350 equipped with another receiver module, so that I can fly it with my Spektrum DX6i remote control, a new purchase is nothing to prevent, for his optics, mechanics, size and flight characteristics I like to be before very! : O)
