I have 201 bought the Sennheiser HD about 6 months ago, and am not quite satisfied - it could go louder. To me it is the MP3 player too low, on the PC it is, but the basses are really too weak, as many have said before me. The upholstered I find not too warm, but after half an hour it pushes me to the ear, even though I have quite normal ears. I have the headphones straighten again, so it does not hurts too much. Also quite hear the ambient noise but loud on the train, for example, you can hear when others talk, or what. Whether one outside can hear everything what I hear, I do not know, I have not yet tested. For sound quality, the headset does not sound as clean as eg the Sennheisser PC 131 headset, which, however, only a little over 20 is more expensive, and thus also in the lower price segment. The heights come simply not so clear out, the depths (and some white and heights) are simply too weak (when bass-heavy music, Dubstep). Another shortcoming, I find, is the cable, the headphones seem to be made for the road, but the 3m cables are simply too long, 1,50-2m would completely reach ... On the PC I have not tested it with games, so I can not say anything for locating, but for music to go just yet so fine - an equalizer on the PC helps quite well. ;) But what do you expect for such a price? Actually, the headphones are recommended for the price (even if or precisely because they are from Sennheiser). I would, however, if you do not want to use necessarily go the headphones, rather Recommend the PC 131. For portable devices, I would not recommend, because I take a normal white other in-ear headphones.
