Installed on an IBM Thinkpad X40 to replace the 1.8-inch HDD of origin.
Warning: This setup requires a Compact Flash to IDE adapter (for example).
Since the card is recognized as an IDE drive, installing an OS (Windows XP, Ubuntu 9.04) is no particular problem.
