Rattling touchpad - now, the touchpad is probably used to, but in my time nothing rattles.
For me it was simply a decision of the features in relation to the price. I needed a laptop with DisplayPort (or Mini-DisplayPort / Thunderbolt) to a UHD - to operate monitor with more than 30Hz. This is what the laptop ever. In the prior things that's not necessarily a matter of course for the price.
An SSD should be in there. The size was relatively unimportant to me - this is a working computer for me (image editing) and not box that all films and / or mp3 - should contain albums. To accommodate my terabytes of images is not enough hard disk anyway (if it is to remain affordable). The computer starts up in about 5 seconds.
About Windows 8.1 can argue - it is currently on it and thanks to various add-ons (ClassicShell, ....) also reasonably use. If it should bother me, then would stop again top Win7.
I have connected a UHD - Monitor (3840 x 2160), a Wacom Intuos Pro, Logitech G11 and G13 and a Sennheiser RS170. Everything runs smoothly and safely.
The only negative criticism I see in the on / off button above right. This was integrated into the keyboard and it had to give the "end" key. This is a bit unfortunate, but deducted a whole point to me is not enough.
Of course you would have the computer even an additional 3.5 "- can spendieren connection The combined headphone / microphone input (or output.) Is rather weak, but even that is (at least for me) whining at a high level you can beforehand... Read the specification of the equipment. Who does not like the buys another computer.
The processing of the device is good - way better than the Lenovo on which I just review the tipper (Lenovo Z50-70 ...).
The display is fantastically well - no comparison to the Lenovo (OK - but the costs only slightly more than half of Asus). Here you can tell the difference of IPS displays more than clear.
Battery performance is satisfactory - but that also (in my case) it is, I do not want to give up too much power in the battery.
At present I would not want to give the laptop back - therefore there are also 5 star
