Packing:
The package is limited down to the essentials, which I find very good. The carton can be nicely folded and thrown into the paper bin. There is no unnecessary Styrofoam case.
Style:
The water filter provides up to the size exactly like this, like that of Brita. I like the simple look very good. With us the Tischwiasserfilter is not in the refrigerator because it is simply too high.
Instructions:
The manual is very extensive for a water filter and you have to get time to take this properly read.
Handling:
The filling of the tap water works just like our previous water filter jug from Brita. However, during the filling of the BWT water at one time must be done, otherwise the counter counts twice. This is significantly better solved at Brita.
Taste:
In addition to the "normal" drinking water, we are preparing with the filtered water in our tea samovar, coffee in the coffee machine and our eggs in egg boiler before: D (with unfiltered water should I think always the same descale with vinegar).
Compared with normal tap water, the filtered water is much softer even a little sweet. But a difference between the filtered with Brita and BWT water we could not determine.
But what is noticed, that is the color of black tea has been associated with the BWT-water much brighter. The taste, however, has been the same.
Conclusion:
We're quite happy with the BWT table water filter, but stay with our Brita, because of problems in filling the water. The BWT filter we give to my sister continued to test, which is also quite a while busy, what they should buy.
