I'm crazy about this saga and this first novel is a very good surprise (the second release in October 2012 in the US) and provides the comic fans a really nice literary aside. It also brings an interesting light on the character of the Governor which perfectly complements the comic. It feels good to leave the unfortunate Rick some time to be in the company of a psychopath. This character is for me, the most interesting, the most work of all, and I looked forward to the season 3 of the series to find him!
A truly surprising outcome that makes us ask more questions about man and his limits.
Do not worry if you do not know the series of comics or the TV series, you will not be lost. This novel can be read independently.
