This compilation album has several advantages. Starting with the incomparable voice of Donna Summer, a voice that magnifies the instruments they are "classic" or "synthetic". Such powerful voice remains rare is why we must emphasize it. Then comes the good idea to gather maximum versions of titles that we already know. These versions are not simply additions of verses in fifteen copies, but passages where unpublished sequences astound, brass and electric guitar dynamite sellotape. The only piece that makes a little patch is the duet with Barbra Streisand, this title is a good (vintage) certainly, but not as timeless as the rest that has not aged. Title 2 (With Your Love) is very rare to find elsewhere, it would be available on CD in this compilation. Another advantage of this album is its unconventional character who does not "catch-all". We listen, we are happy but we did not feel stuffed by the policy of "summarize the entire career of the artist in under 74 minutes." Finally, there is the elegant and sober dark pouch, which states that Donna Summer has existed for a long time, long before "The Full Monty". His music and his voice are exceptional. Do not burn, buy it.
