Was Herwigs First, rather gloomy yet hard solo album "No guts no girl" theme of processing of separation / divorce dedicated by his wife (in my opinion his best because "deepest" album) is, "more and more" a very optimistic album. So is the first number is equal to "(I prefer to catch again) from the beginning". Herwig has musically never cut twice on the same nail, but again sprout pad ensures a new mood for each new record. Quite unlike the "No guts ...", where he composes everything single-handedly, has arranged and recorded, he works here with a solid band together (G. Kochbek, P. Potschka, U. Fahrenkrog-Petersen). In "More and more" Herwig shows what fantastic ballads he can write: "Sink In Your Lake" and "Best Friend" is one of the best that there is in the German rock music in ballad. Herwig is the unhappy lover some advice: "Why do not you let go." The potentially most touching song is this (perhaps autobiographical) "Never alone". The title track, with its gaudy Phil Collins Drums 1985 was a veritable hit in the German single charts. "The album" More and more "is a gem in the German rock music - and a nice contrast to Herwig's first solo album!
