High tech at its finest

The overwhelmingly positive reviews I can connect fully. Everything is ready for use and the multiple functions already been said, except perhaps to the accuracy of the barometer: A comparison with the official air pressure - observed over several weeks - showed an average deviation of 0.3 mbar!

Now to my real motivation for this review:

Unfortunately, my first unit had approximately 6 weeks a defect - sporadic loss of satellite reception. On Monday I received (by phone) from Garmin support an RMA number for returning the product. On Tuesday morning, my input has been confirmed, and on Wednesday I was able to unpack a new device from the original box !! Could not be better.

Now I am looking forward to the next biking and hiking; Incidentally, the free OSM maps are truly outstanding.
