At the start and the quality of the measurement:
For me, it usually takes about three minutes until the clock displays the measured signal from the strap, which I find totally unacceptable. As long as it lasts just until the skin surface between the electrodes and a film of sweat has formed, which is essential necessary for measuring nunmal. These should be said that I basically sweat rather little.
The measured values are undoubtedly correct, they correspond exactly to the result of a recent EKG.
What should be also said: The measurement works also remains good, if other sources are in the immediate vicinity. I run mostly (to music and run-app) with the smartphone in the fanny pack, so that's then not very far away from the belt and clock. The measure, however, is extremely robust.
For operation:
The operation of the clock is actually intuitively comprehensible. When times should not get ahead, but step by step, a sufficiently detailed for my taste because manual explains each function and setting. By the time one for once takes about 10 minutes time, the operation of the clock should be well understood. In this respect, I can not really understand that some reviewers complain about the clarity.
Among the various measurement options:
The clock offers more features than I need. For me, setting the training zone, lap times, as well as average and maximum heart rate are sufficient and that everything went fine. The clock can but a lot more, but what I did not address here.
For comfort:
Even with the comfort I am very satisfied, from the belt I feel when wearing anything at all. The same applies if properly bracelet setting the clock.
Appearance:
Least important to me is the design, because the accuracy of the measured values and the functionality is of course for me in the foreground. However, the clock can be quite impressive, looks kind of after more than 45. In addition, clock and strap come in a neat and handy zip bag, which is ideal for storage.

After I have really nothing to complain about and everything works exactly how I want it, I can wholeheartedly recommend the PM 62. More is not just for the money.
PS: I just read elsewhere that there is the manual in English only. That is not so at least for me; My instructions are in English and German.
