Design / fit:
---------------------------------
+ The map consists of simple black plastic with a silver imprint, but which looks very valuable and is imitated the aluminum of the MacBook.
+ It fits perfectly in the slot provided and there is an approximately 1 mm thick end out of the laptop, which looks at the volatile Hingucken as the normal SD slot
- To remove the map Unfortunately, fingernails and some violence are necessary because of the "top push-to-remove mechanism" by the design logically not working. But it is indeed intended to be a lasting memory expansion, therefore falls to me not this point to the weight.
Filesystem:

Was delivered, the card with exFAT, which is clearly explained to me that there is even one or the other Mac users, which can not dispense entirely with other operating systems (including myself included) and so broad compatibility is ensured since no sure every user is adept enough to change this. It must function halt.
I have the card yet reformatted into MacOS Extended, because I want to use them only under MacOSX.
Speed:
-----------------------
In the Product Description 95 MB / S to write 60MB / s for reading and given as maximum values. This, of course I wanted to test directly. For this I used two programs:
AJA System Test - Writing: 52.5 MB / S // Read: 87.3 MB / S
Blackmagic Disk Speed Test - Writing: 45.2 MB / S // Read: 82.6 MB / S
Was tested in a mode in which a plurality of different sized files are copied and then read in each case. In sum then average value was calculated to obtain a reliable statement possible.
In practice, I was disturbed by no means the rate at which the swap my iTunes library (about 30GB) and movie library (around 25GB) went very smoothly from equip and also very fast for my taste.
Other:

Some have criticized that with inserted JetDrive battery life in standby was severely impaired. This I could see well, so I've taken care of by the Transcend website the "JetDrive Toolbox" which includes a so-called "Power Safe" adds that automatically ejects the card when closing and re-integrates into the system, if you use the computer again , Thus, the use of various third-party software is not needed and the battery is also overused unnecessarily.
All in all, it is therefore a very solid "All around solution". The ratio of price / performance is top! I'd buy the ticket again and can fully recommend!
