Wiko 9367 Lenny Smartphone (12.7 cm (5 inches) FWVGA display, dual SIM, 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, 5 megapixel camera, 1.3 megapixel front camera, 4GB internal memory, 512 MB RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat) purple (Electronics)

Customer Review

I bought the Lenny for my mother.
Therefore, I choose the color purple. Therefore, and because all the other colors a delivery time between 2 weeks and three months offered.

Order Placed on Wednesday by 5 clock, arrival at noon on Thursday.
So a usual quick and trouble-prime delivery.

The cardboard in black and purple to match the body color only slightly irritated by the printed image of Lenny in turquoise. I do not know if that's always the case, or is combined randomly.
When you open one sees any case the expected purple colored telephone.

The establishment:
Removing the battery lid is somewhat tricky, because this is festgeklippt with small hooks around.
Once you have done it only once the battery is Mani who use SIM card (s) and any MicroSD card without any problems.

When you first start with about three-quarters full battery you have to set the language, country and clock.
Then the device is ready for use.
A WLAN connection can now be set directly, if any.

Next up was (in my case) a small system update ready. I installed this and was surprised by the subsequent system reboot, as directly the next update was announced. The whole then repeated two more times. In total, four (smaller) updates were necessary to bring the phone up to date.

After I installed some additional apps like Facebook, Skype, Whatsapp etc.

In general, I must say that the surface - as far as I can tell - quite close to the pure Android (Vanilla) is settled.
Since I previously had only Nexus devices / have, I can do no comparison to the user interfaces of example. Samsung, HTC or LG.

From all cases some relatively useful additional apps are already installed. Be mentioned here are, for example. A file manager, a flashlight, a radio, a voice recorder and a backup tool.

Service:
It is operated by touch screen, which responds very quickly and absolutely without any problems responding to inputs.
On the right side is the power button, which is also the biggest criticism. Although he responded very well, but he is quite shaky admitted into the case. If you touch him, he rattles downright.
For the volume rocker, however, the same is true, not so pronounced.
If you shake the unit, it rattles too easily.

Display:
The display is of course not razor sharp, which is due to the not too high resolution.
The color accuracy and viewing angles are not the best.
But all this does not detract from the pleasant use of the phone for SMS, Internet and YouTube.

GPS and Google Maps:
The GPU-reception is very good. The signal is found very quickly and also remains stable. This I know from my Nexus 5 times different.
Zooming in Google Maps is a true delight. The phone responds quickly and with almost no delay. Absolutely brilliant.

Preliminary Conclusions:
For 100 a really recommendable smartphone.
If I did not already have a Nexus, I could make friends with this inexpensive, but good device me quite.

I'll refine this review on occasion even further.

*** Update 1, 10.29.2014: ***

The mobile phone continues to function properly.

The dual SIM feature is now also tested.
You can select which SIM to be used for what. For example. SIM1 SMS, SIM2 rate calls, SIM1 / 2 for Internet.
Choices are therefore, SIM1, SIM2 or "Prompt every time".

Another weakness I noticed after I installed the SwiftKey keyboard. [...]
The phone does not vibrate despite this option is selected "Vibrate when touch" barely up, no matter how many milliseconds it also adjusts the Virbationsdauer. What with my Nexus leads to a uniquely tactile feedback when typing is here unfortunately (if present) is not properly supported.
This phenomenon also occurs incidentally to the standard keyboard, so is not because of Swiftkey.

Display:
The display is really good size, the resolution is absolutely fine. Youtube videos, chat, Skype, Internet everything works perfectly. Through the physical buttons below the display is the entire area for content and will be "cut" not faded buttons.

Reception:
The reception is perfectly so far. Both with Vodafone, as well as with Aldi Talk (= E-Plus). No dropouts, good voice quality.
Internet is so far used only in Wi-Fi, for lack of ordinary data plan. The wireless receiver is definitely very good, better than my Nexus 5, which is struggling now and then with a very slow connection.
