The paddle has a built-in material or design flaw in my eyes. The first paddle has broken me shortly after the first use of the quiet paddling smoothly. The delivered by Amazon spare paddle is a short time later also broken at a cozy family canoe trip on the Danube. I have lost all confidence in the paddle and will therefore certainly no longer go on tour. I do not know how it came to the other positive reviews, because the breaks have happened twice, I do not believe in a one-time manufacturing defects.
