The texts are of course what they should be and the matching party of ancient authors is happy. But the notes apparatus is of extreme poverty while these texts are appealing not only factually but contextually.
The title does not announce that several authors appear only in the form of extracts. Fortunately, Commynes is full. But why sawed Froissart? it would have been better a second volume.
