History sloppy

The book reads so rather well. From the first pages we want to read more, the reader is in action from the beginning.
But the more we advance, the more one wonders or is coming from the author. New characters appear throughout the book, the chapter then disappear after. To ask if they are not to fill the pages.
At times it is even possible to forget the thread of the book!

It's a shame because the subject is interesting and the author could make a very good novel. But for that it should have added pages to give value added to all these characters.
