I have used in all my cars Steering wheel covers; as Grobmotoriker I have always liked something more substantial between the fingers and some steering wheels look a bit fragile. With so 'nem coating is then applied slightly thicker grip again and I like that. The former covers were always relatively cheap and plastic. This one now is not just expensive, but leather. That's why I decided for this reference.

Two things I noticed when unpacking immediately:
- The cover is stitched seams are asymmetrical and the bead produced, which can be seen quite well on the product image. But in my opinion this disturbs not the appearance, rather the opposite is the case.
- The reference pleasant smell of genuine leather. That's perhaps many do not care, especially because this smell is determined eventually disappeared, but I like it. The previous reference, which now ends up in the bin, has smelled the beginning quite pushy to rubber.

The Steering Wheel Cover is well made, the seams are stitched with dark thread and completed clean (no excess thread ends). The inside has a white silicone (or what-so-ever) coated layer and is apparently secure the cover on the steering wheel from sliding around.

The assembly is, as one can read in the other reviews also, but simply exhausting. The coating is sewn accurately and the leather stretches only slightly. The non-slip application makes mounting any easier.

I proceeded as follows:
Only depend reference behind the wheel on the hub in order to work from back to front can -.
- The lower side as far as pulling on the steering wheel and align exactly. Through the tight fit a correction is later no longer possible.

In this way I was finished after 20 minutes.

The related steering wheel can be seen. The visual impression is very appealing. The cover is non-slip, it comes when driving so not too unpleasant surprises. The cover bears quite on, especially at the seams and thus he is maybe not suitable for people with small / petite hands for me but just right.
