Dream Awake - Peppy's introduction to music. A bass-heavy dance sound with various synth and piano elements animate equal to dance. Perfect voice and beautiful catchy melody. Perfect opener.
Betcha Never - Beautiful acoustic guitars - and Latino sound that quite turning up in chorus, to go wrong that sexy voice of Jennifer, because nothing can really more. Super title.
Windows - Beautiful ballad that not too quiet dahintümbelt in sound and boasts a beautiful melody that remains hanging equal. Here you can hear well with the best that Jennifer is vocally as well on it as ever (if not better). Beautiful piano sounds in the sound.
Down On My Knees - Similar to "Dream Awake" on here very lively to the point. A quick Discosound with light trance elements, plus a like unleashing Singing Jennifer Rush. Class title, sit quietly difficult here.
Head above water - is a beautiful pop song that would have fit on any of their albums, absolutely typical of Jennifer Rush. Especially in the chorus sings very powerfully almost anthemic.
I never asked for an angel - Very quiet ballad with classical piano sound, something reminds me of "Hero of a fool". Unfortunately missing here somehow the great chorus and the title runs almost too quiet to himself.
Echoes Love - This song do a really good mood. The fast rhythm immediately goes into the legs. The melody is a perfect summer hit. Fresh wind and Sommerlaune pure.
I'm not dreaming anymore - now the complete opposite to its predecessor, a bit melancholic acting Mittemposong comes. This probably works through the sad-sounding piano sounds in the sound so, in the intermediate part's will be something faster and louder. Overall a nice Poptitel.
Now is the hour - of all things with the title track I have the most problems. Although Jennifer's voice here is awesome and also to hear over the entire width, but the title seems to me too thickly. The entire structure, the sound, the choir accompaniment, the melody, all acting like a hymn. Somehow not my case.
Like I would for you - This is doch mal a nice, tangy pop song with nice guitar sound that reminds me of something, "Never say never". Well done.
Before The Dawn - Beautiful ballad with a good chorus. Very nice soulful singing. Especially good sound the choir accompanied the final chorus.
Eyes of a woman - The quick sound effect here a little dramatic and so the title would easily run away as James Bond title track. Also contributes to the structure and the melody of the song.
Just This Way - Similar to "Echoes love" this song spread really good mood. During the verses of the sound is a bit withdrawn and then the chorus really turn up. Accustomed strongly sung and equipped with a beautiful melody of the title is a real firecracker.
Is not loved you long enough - Classic ballad with piano, orchestral and choral accompaniment. Again, a slightly anthemic structure and character, not as extreme as the title track and still on the border of beautiful.
Still - Quiet and dreamy finale of the album. Ballad with piano accompaniment and beautiful melody. Strong song that fully focuses on the voice of Jennifer Rush.
A little bothers me the structure of the album. The constant change between quick songs and ballads is not my case. I like then prefer a quiet finale (the album also has) and the ballads have all packed the end. In any case, are in my ears, the ballads a little weak point of the album, which partly equipped with weak tunes to calm hinplätschern right. And so shows the album, particularly in this area a few lengths and would have been better served less with 2-3 titles. At the magnificent voice of Jennifer Rush's is not self-evident.
A little bit I miss the courage to release a maxi CD. Potential candidates has hit the album enough. Maybe the record company and Ms. Rush has also presented the comercial success of the album better. Nevertheless, I hope that they publish in the future again more albums with new songs.
