The machine itself looks initially a little unorthodox from, but can be operated intuitively, in my opinion. Krups advertises this as "extravagant design". Well, one can express it. But back to the point: Just one quick look in the manual and it can be started with the condiments. The water is poured down, heated and then pressed with pressure up through the filter. Well, I think that the machine been cooperating with a permanent filter. The cleaning may be a bit complicated, I am confident nonetheless. The coffee is much hotter than our old machine and with the same water / powder quantity definitely also something more. A little caution is required, because the lid of the water tank is quite hot during operation. However, this is not is a heat retaining plate! The one negative to me that far too short power cord that requires either an extension or a power outlet nearby. Overall, I would want to recommend this coffee. In particular, the temperature and see the intense coffee flavor.
