Quite so simple is the preparation with the Klarstein Popcorn Maker not - but all the more augenschmeichlerischer and nostalgic. The device itself consists of a plastic housing (also the red elements - such as the transparent - plastic), a removable plastic door, a metal pot with a fixed power cord, a plastic bowl that collects the fresh popcorn and two scoops. Also included is still a manual in German. The pot is hooked in a hinge, the power cord is connected to the plastic housing. On the housing a relatively short power cord is attached, which in turn must be plugged into an electrical outlet. Now the metal pot has to be preheated. (In addition, the popcorn machine is illuminated). Meanwhile, oil has now in the scoop are cast, which can be poured after about two minutes the pot - and the second scoop the right amount of popcorn maize is measured and also put in the pot. Before long, pops the popcorn out of the pot. This can even tilt easily thanks to an attached handle, so as to get the remaining grains from the pot.
The cleaning of the pot is a little more cumbersome, the two cover flaps are still firmly attached to the pot and relatively scharfwandig. By permanently attached cable of the pot must not be immersed in rinsing water or even put in the dishwasher. The rest of the plastic housing can be easily cleaned with soapy water.
Overall, the preparation of the popcorn is real fun with this machine and the same time exuding true cinematic feel (alternatively Disneyland- or Michael Jackson's Neverland-mood). The plastic housing could be worked-quality, the red material looks relatively thin and threatens to be easily canceled. As eye-catcher and Moody popcorn maker machine makes, however, a very good figure. The reduced price of Popcorn Maker is thoroughly recommended (if you value on atmospheric composition) - the initial price seems utopian to me.
All in all, I still four stars for the Klarstein Popcorn Maker. A few elements might be on the equipment improved.
