The non-illuminated display was already criticized here, so I do not want to go into this separately.
The scanner works with 1200 dpi and scans in Colour Bet, although the term is done in b / w.
Overall, the unit makes a solid impression though, is but geared primarily for use under Windows. Furthermore, it is assumed that the device is close to the PC. A button 'scan' is missing eg entirely. For me, the printer is 20 meters from the PC and is connected via network. A Scan to FTP, Scan to SMB, etc. missing. Operation under Linux is limited.
For these reasons, there are only 3 out of 5.
[Update]:
I'm trying for days to move the printer to print over the network, which as far as we hit always fail. A printing a test page from the Web front-end works, but not on the operating system from an application. Also, the printer does not wake up, I send a print job. The printer goes back.
[Update]:
So far, Amazon has refused to assist me in return. A Rücksendeschein I can not print absence printer should I statdessen drag the printer with my crutches to the post office and pay the postage himself. Service? A Lie!
For this, I used the time until now for further analysis: On a test computer with Internet access resulted:
During installation, the installation program with [...], [...] and [...] communicated.
After installing drivers and compression test (Airprint is disabled) does the printer try to 224.0.0.251 and 224.0.1.60 to communicate. Instead of 3, there are now only 2 points.
