About a Boy, or The Day of the Dead Duck [VHS] (VHS Tape)

Customer Review

The film's story is simply told: Will (38) has everything what its sex and peers (at least sometimes) dream: He is single, has no children or work commitments and can, as the saying goes, "the good God good his man. And by the way, he can tow loads of women. His latest trick here is the visiting support groups for single parents. All this changes when he meets Marcus. The twelve year old son of a suicide-prone mother presents Will's life upside down. The based on the novel by Nick Hornby has just succeeded. Wonderful lively dialogues and great performers. Here especially Nicolas Hoult as Marcus, who always tries to adapt and at the same time not to hurt his mother with it. And of course a wonderful Hugh Grant, who in this film gives one of his best ever performances. In his presentation of this bachelor who lives in no commitments in the day, he is casual, not how long and takes up and its image to some extent even for a ride. Conclusion: Not only for fans of Hugh Grant is a must!
