The problem is cleaning. According to the waterworks in Hamburg we have soft water with us. Nevertheless, the humidifier calcified within 3 days and 6 liters of water so strong (bright yellow deposits) that you have to intensively clean. There are two problems: The included cleaning brush to clean 3 times no longer usable, because the bristles are too soft. And the machine is so rugged that you really get clean only with a stronger brush and a microfiber cloth everything. But beware: There is plenty of small hidden places and gaps which can hardly be achieved. We therefore descale every third cleaning, but even a good brush is required. So: Even if the humidification works very well and the unit runs quietly (would worth 5 stars), the cleaning is a problem. We try now only once with the scale filter optional. Another note: The first 6 liters of water during the initial commissioning can best evaporate in a well ventilated place, it smells a bit.
