This proved to be very, very good idea!
As you can see in my other reviews, I've tried quite a lot of different manufacturers on my search for a perfect matching to my headphones and was never really satisfied ...
To anticipate it to take: No, this time I'm not 100% about peace (otherwise it would indeed become 5 star), but more on that later.
I had different, higher-quality AKG models, Sony MDR-1R, Audio Technica WS55i and recently the Yamaha PRO400, the best of all I liked the sound forth. Absurdly, I have to say: I can see that even now so! The Yamaha has a unique bass emphasis, but provides at the same time an incredibly wide range of all frequencies and is for me, as before, the winner in the sound playback. ANYWAY I like the beats Mixr for my purposes better, so I've separated myself again from Yamaha (also cracked the MMN very inferior plastic every time I put on him - it made no very durable impression on me ...).

Evaluation of individual factors:
Processing and material:
Processing is one of the best that I could hold in my hands before. Everything is very high quality, it is built a lot of metal, which is generally sympathetic to me. Also, the sculpture seems clearly superior to the models from Sony, Yamaha and audio Technika that I possessed.
Nevertheless, I am cautious because of the reviews that have reported a fraction of the bracket. Until now everything looks great, but it should prove to be true, the feared "breaking point" with me for 2 years, I will complete this review in any case!
But one thing should be mentioned: A good week stank the earbuds really aggressive Chemicals - really unpleasant. Luckily, it disappeared with time, but feel good is not. After all, does our skin also substances which may not be aware of all users of this brand ...

Design and comfort:
Although I have to give the other reviewers right, they have a fairly high downforce wirkich, although this is not as bad as the Audio Technica WS55i or the AKG K 518. After one hour of listening to my ears hurt easily - with the other two that was after just 20 minutes of the event and much more ...
In addition, the headphones can be folded pretty small - a big plus compared to the clunky to Yamaha PRO400 (which would not notgetan if Yamaha would not necessarily use this terrible beats plastic design ...).
The enclosed protective case I do not think so beautiful, such as the Sennheiser Momentum or the Yamaha, but all the times better than for example the Sony MDR-1R (simple bag) or the AKG 551 and 545 and Audio Technica (no bag there!).
The design in itself is wonderful, in my view - between retro and modern and pleasantly compact - was for me one of the reasons to order.

Sound:
I have to say quite clearly: The KH is completely non-linear. He has clear sound preferences - so to speak, an "own preset EQ", which you may need - or not. What seemed to me relatively quickly noticed as a friend of high tones that certain high frequencies are easily reproduced at all. You will simply cut off (just compare times with in-ears, because you can hear immediately what is missing). But this also means that certain "sharpening" in the heights simply do not occur (this tended the AKG 551 times). Since nevertheless a certain height range (the somewhat lower) is with in the foreground, the heights ironically act still brilliant as the Yamaha PRO400 or AKG 545, although these reflect more frequencies. These two I missed anyway a certain brilliance in the heights (maybe just a overemphasis - I like heights, as I said), and this gives me the beats Mixr actually better.
The bass is very stressed, though not nearly so great as with other Beats models, which I have already sample belongs. Nevertheless, a good deal stronger than the Yamaha, and who was already audible bass Stark. There is a certain "chubby basic heat" by the boosted bass available that automatically lead to less emphasis and precision of the bass range. Nevertheless, I like the while listening to the train and go - it's fun and is not too strong.
Also, certain centers are highlighted.
Because bass, midrange and treble could be emphasized in particular area smoothly get the impression that the KH is balanced, it is not. You hear especially in film music, classical music and meditation music. Depending on the type of recording I was with classical pieces a bit disappointed with the sound, because here just yet the highest heights missing. Everything else that I hear (Post-Rock, New Metal, Progressive Rock, independent rock, hiphop and some meditation music) sounds to me just so good that I can live without that. I can say that good 90% of my music for me super sounds - the feeling I had in any of the other headphones.
To sum things up to the sound say that he is clearly NOT HiFi, but I just totally like. Try is really mandatory. Almost all the models that I had previously owned (except the AKGs who had partially weak bass), had a much broader spectrum of sound than this beats Mixr, but hey, I just prefer to listen to them! It just makes me more fun to hear it. Even though I know that it is not HiFi and I get a modified sonic image, but I like it! This is ultimately the decisive factor.
One should, however, be mentioned that I had not found here in other reviews:
There are quite a lot of cable noise when this touches on my clothes along. I knew beforehand so only by Sony.
I do not know if this is because I use the headset cable (thus possibly the microphone), but I wanted to mention it in any case.

Conclusion:
Well, what can I say? I myself have been looking at Beats products down - now I use myself one and am happier than before with many hi-models! ;-)
For me, the headphones are ideal: small, compact, high quality and I like the sound - I am happy!
After many high end models actually provide the much broader band sound, has me nevertheless exactly this model convinced. It makes me totally fun to hear it, and that is ultimately the meaning of headphones. But I had to myself first to make it clear: voluntary to choose something from which I know that it is not contrary to the original sound - that was funny ...
Everyone with an interest in the model should try unreservedly to approach and see what happens. I was thrilled with astonishing speed. Other Beats models can I get lost but continue ;-)
PS:
I was lucky enough to buy the KH at a special price - more than 150, - Euro I would not spend it !!!
