Not the fault Biolay if these people have formatted ears to listen to Bruel, Obispo, Pagny and other Fiori, singers certainly to speak but not anything intelligent to tell.
And I note in passing that said exactly the same thing Gainsbourg or Daho ... and the fate of these two was not the most disgusting, to paraphrase the great Serge which celebrates its 20th anniversary death these days.
To return to Biolay, must recognize that the young man has a talent for writing material and arrangements, often beautiful, form velvet cases for his songs. The shadow of Gainsbourg actually flat on the compositions of Biolay, it is undeniable but do not reduce his work to a simple plagiarism of the master. And can we really plagiarize Gainsbourg? I'm not sure.
I'm not really a fan of the so-called new French scene - Delerme annoys me, leaves me indifferent and Bénabar Cali fills me even though I loved all his first album - but I confess Biolay m ' wowed with this album, the most successful of his short career.
