First, let me begin by saying that I have several LED Lenser products - almost a small collection with bags and headlamps. I opted for the H14R as me H7R has let down unfortunately after one year: first a cable fault (the lamp lit up only when I aside bent the cable), then was the same after the on-off switch defect. For me, a big disappointment! As evening joggers and night-woodsman I desperately needed replacement and windy me, this time to spend some extra money: it was worth it! The H14R is in my opinion much better than the processed H7R! You bother me either when running, even when cutting with a chain saw or carrying the timber. It is well balanced on the head despite the higher weight. The light intensity is impressive! That's all I really do not need! :-) Strong buy recommendation!
