It is not a daily or weekly timer, but a plug with a fixed period of operation after it was triggered (the trigger is the small gray square on the top of the case, as distinguished on the picture). Choice: 30min, 3 or 6h. This button is a switch (on / off), but a simple trigger (on). I needed to use an essential oil diffuser without Timer but should not work more than 30 minutes in a row (by quickly, quickly forgot). I also use it for other electrical appliances (such as laptop chargers). The pub boasts energy savings to be made on devices but turned off for those who are concerned. The design is very good and the solid object. A good buy!
