I was accustomed to a true universal adapter that I lost. By buying this one I was hoping the same performance. Alas, it does not accept the French socket with earth (and this clause appears very discreetly in the last line of the product description). A number of French appliances will therefore not be connected. It does not accept the US flat plug (eg charger, Panasonic Lumix cameras) ... and it is for this need I made this purchase, which is useless. So look for another model.
