Kaltreiniger I still know from the 1980s. This was easily any Schmodder whether tar, oil or grease, dissolved from the motorcycle. But this time I wanted to clean the housing parts, side panels and drip tray on my gas grill times reasonable. However, the effect was not better than detergent. Maybe that works only when the engine oil, at least not in animal fat. Perhaps it is only in the EU, that sort of thing these days no longer have the cleaning effect of earlier - it would not be the only product that falls to provisions concerning victims.
