Who cares what others think or say if there is music that reaches the heart and brings the soul in unison? In the field of pop music, there is for me only 2 bands that have done it with their harmonies: Fleetwood Mac and ABBA. When I was 15 (1980), it was not cool to like Abba ... times change ... right? 'Super Trouper' in my opinion is the essence of creativity Abbas: ripe, full of longing, witty and desirable. Does it matter that the day is over? It is important to know that we are looking for a lifetime by our great love and will probably never be found? If the gods allow songs like 'The winner takes it all' resound on earth must, then, yes, and only then, it is highly likely that there is something like the term 'eternity' is. There is music that we hum along, there are hits that make us on the radio one summer happy, and there is Abba, who managed to (m) to enrich a life and have made it what it is. I do not want to imagine what it would be to have a life without Abba, and how well that I did not need me. This album is the proof. 'The winner takes it all' is based on a clear and structured and incredibly poignant emotion that it hurts. For me, now as then, the proof that we are not alone in this world, and that Agnetha owes its name to an angel. And every other song on this album just proves once again that no jewels can sparkle no diamond in the world so, is so valuable, so poignant is how the euphony of these melodies. Thank Abba that they are Abba.
