Christmas 1997. My wife received "Chicken Soup..Soul" from my mother for a gift. Shelly (my Wife) is not much of a reader, so I picked it up and browsed through it. I had a house full of family and friends and here I am, somebody who has a stubborn heart and never gets choked-up, bawling like a baby while finishing up the stories. Before long, all of my guests were around me listening to me read from the pages, all sobbing. It's bad enough the stories did have us feeling so good (or sad) half way through them, but we have to get hit with the last line in the story feels like a kick Which Usually in the throat.
