The tracks Specifically:
1. "Disarray" (4.5 / 5):
The album begins with a very unusual and getting used to tune to which one but easily get used to the multiple listening. And you notice immediately, Lifehouse have become rockier. You can feel it from the drums to vocals. After quite a good chorus and solo a solid opener.
2. "First Time" (5/5):
The single. For me this song is one of the best on the disc, even if it is very easy to knit. Jason could have written this song also three years ago, but the quality and Eingägigkeit this songs speak for themselves. The chorus you can not get more out of your ear.
3. "Whatever It Takes" (4/5):
The song begins with midtempo and slow sung verses. Again, you have to get used to the melody of the chorus, but that's after multiple listening no longer a problem. The song comes but not completely ran on songs like "Blind" or "Everything".
4. "Who We Are" (5/5):
The title track of the CD is once again one of the faster songs, two chords, horny bassline, catchy vocals. Overall a Toptrack and Jason's favorite song of the plate. Otherwise this there is not much to say, listen and enjoy.
5. "Broken" (5/5):
This is the Lifehouse song for "Hanging By A Moment". When I first heard this song, I was really blown away. A beautiful ballad a la Everything the downright exudes end before beauty.
The melody of this song is simply enchanting. Just incredible and not to put into words ...
6. "The Joke" (4.5 / 5):
When I heard this song for the first time, I thought I would have swapped the CD, because with such a song you never expected on this CD. Rocking off beat and unusual melody reminiscent of "Stanley Climfall" times. Nevertheless, the song is not bad, on the contrary, Lifehouse show courage and continued good songwriting.
Unusual, but horny !!!
7. "Easier To Be" (5/5):
Horny guitar melody at the start. Similar to Who We Are a rather simple knitted song that is catchy but incredibly. Good good Chorus Bridge towards the end. One can enjoy this song from beginning to end.
8. 'Make Me Over' (4/5):
Another mid-tempo song, unusual chord progression in the chorus, otherwise the song is like the other also very nice to hear, but not a high flyer. It is towards the end immmer stronger.
9. "Mesmerized" (4/5):
--- See Make Me Over) --- a little bit better !!!
10. "Bridges" (5/5):
One of the hardest rocking song on the CD, horny beginning, one must, as always, only a little used to it, but it falls a relatively easy.
Uptempo in the verses, wearing Chorus.Auch rather an unusual Lifehouse songs (see The Joke). Here you mekrt clearly how well Jason feels in this rockier Lifehouse variant. His voice sounds incredible here.
11. "Learn You Inside Out" (4/5):
Wearing Lifehouse ballad. The verses are sung very high and this time a little something very unusual;) The Chorus is time but quite strong. He saves the listening before falling asleep.
12. "Storm" (5/5):
With Broken (and First Time) the song of the plate. Be Lifehouse fans, know that this song is already many, many years is old and even before (!) Was the megahit "Hanging By A Moment" written. One can only wonder now how so that Hammer was still on top of any album ?? One recognizes this song not again, the demo (a few years ago was not even half as good ... the song is now much more harmonious and relaxed. One hears only Jason's voice and one of the best Lifehouse songs.
Highlights:
First Time
Who We Are
Broken
Storm
This album puts Lifehouse in a new light, something to get out of the right in the rock and pop exactly light where the three guys always wanted to be. In addition, this album next to know average song also 2 songs that make Lifehouse properly admirable. "Broken" and "Storm".
The second best Lifehouse album (behind "No Name Face") !!!!
Absolutely awesome !!!
