Firstly, I'm not normally the type of a review but writes in this case I have the time !!!
I'm really disappointed with the game (Ubisoft) and the other by the type of packaging of Amazon !!!
Okay Let's start with the packaging of this "Special Edition".
It's probably been a joke. As with my predecessors I have a huge bubble mailer get where there was a small white box. I thought to myself as first Okay Where is the Special Box ??? Then I thought maybe it's a Steel Box in the black style. But none !!! I opened the white cardboard and what I saw !!! Even a smaller white box where the pictured black cardboard with the Assassins and the A pocket watch in it was.
(To pocket one can not complain. I find it beautifully designed, it works and it was not bonded as with other. Sure you can now put any super high expectations for this clock but for the showcase and as a collector's item Top.)
And there was something else in the white box and although a nice indented Assassins Creed untiy Game !!!!
When I opened the game shell flew me already opposed the CD because they lay by the imprinting of small boxes of the pocket at stake and pressed together by the whole big cardboard box was pressed the CD out of its holder and thus loose in the envelope was flying around !!!
I thought only WTF !!! Super for before 5 thumbs down !!!
(Top was that I got the game and the release date so at 13:11:14 just so on the edge)
Now we come to the real fun namely Game se !!!
I am really looking forward to Assassins Creed untiy. With all the new features that were promised Ubisoft and of course to the French Revolution. I am also a huge fan of the show and really got all the parts through gambled and not just once. But what has allowed Ubisof here suggests to me the last straw !!!
Now I have already dedicated more than 30 hours to the game and tried just about everything and explored in Paris and think that I can now give my conclusion so.
I think Ubisoft no word !!! Ubisoft is how politicians / politics become the one to choose or buy in this case. They make promises they can not keep just enough people to lull and beat as much profit out of a. Without regard to losses!!! You have a Verbugtes, Verruckeltes lower (in some places) Framerate (places lower than the promised 30 fps especially in distant buildings falls on it !!! Only when approaching the building the contours are sharp.) And plated with glitches unfinished game thrown on the market !!! To put it briefly to say.
Let's start with all the negativity:
Control is in contrast to its predecessors already better you have to say. But she's not so super awesome as it was touted by far !!!
The movements are indeed liquid and even the Parkour system is especially useful if you tall buildings down but climbing one remains still hanging on small stages, Arno jumps partly towards where he wants and not where I want to or if he jump over objects / to slip he tried to slip on any subject and also doors or open windows are often not crossed with a cool jump through but Arno prefers to stay in front of the wall stand or climb up somewhere else. And that is often very annoying and costs in chases precious seconds.
Then the Aufplobenden people. This makes the atmosphere in the game is not exactly nice. For example, I am with Arno on the balcony of his cafés to enjoy the view and look down onto the street and into the distance, and suddenly you can see 10 people who appear out of nowhere, or even with objects that people have in hand For example, the lances where the heads are impaled or flares or flags. That looks just south ........ out !!!
While we're at it are what does not look good from the people, buildings or other things are that are pretty blurry at a distance !!! Especially to recognize in large buildings or crowds. The closer you get the sharper the textures only. I would not say anything if that would be noticed minimal but here it is so extreme.
What I find even blurred and dreary is the sky and the landscape of Paris. That all seems so lifeless and gray so I was even say vague and poorly.
In the last Assassins Creed offshoot Blck flag I found the sky, the nature and the weather just more vivid and especially the clarity of !!! For example, in Black Flag when it rained there then the rain looked first more realistic you could even the raindrops on the water down and see go on the floor and also concerning the sound of the falling rain was so much better than Unity. In Unity it is so that if it looks like raining rain pretty bland and there is no reaction on the water or on the ground !!! Sometimes the rain sound is also there although it's not raining.
The bugs / glitches are also quite unattractive. Taking the streets of Paris as you see often times a type of not standing next to his stall no but on it or in it or the walls, people jump from the balcony and are flying high again, standing on tables in a sitting position as if You sit in a chair just there is none or even body parts like arms sink into the walls or feet stuck in the ground or like the skin of passers peeping through the garments. Or in a mission (murder mysteries / Death tastes sweet) since one should examine the corpse of a dead woman, but if you look at looks at the face of the alleged deceased sees how she blinks her eyes still moving and even looks at Arno. Super what a tragic proces s .........
Oh is not that nice .... Paris city of bugs.
No serious people that kills any atmosphere !!! This also makes a great French Revolution again and no 5000 NPC's that are just partially only bugged.
Now comes even a small point of bothers me personally and share in the other Assassins was not as fast and that the disappearance of opponents killed !!!
So if you have done one or more opponents in the ancient Assassins parts could safely a circular walk around the block and back to the battlefield where the enemy lay and they were still there !!! And in Unity you have to remove just 30 meters or go fast times in a house which is just around the corner or climb onto the roof, then when you come back to the point where the enemy were they mostly already gone !!!!
Sometimes even if you have turned around only once briefly !!!
For some, this is not so important in a game but for me just already. Otherwise I can just pick up games from EA me.
And despite all these negative aspects is the game still 2-3 good properties.
First, the story between Arno and Elise find quite nice. Man feverishly with the two already partially with and one wants Elise protect at all costs. We will send the entire mastermind responsible for the murder of the father of Elise and Arno to hell. Of course, dive back into some famous people from this era on how the predecessors also. Unfortunately, you spend not too much time with them because the story plot only times based on Arno and Elise.
The other point is that you can Arno gestallten so with clothes, abilities, colors and weapons as you like.
That already makes her something.
And the last point goes to the co-op play online. Fun to draw power even with friends through Paris and to do mission. I just hope that still follow a few other mission be because in the long run that is boring again to save even the same types of the guillotine. Console is not frozen at me.
So summarized Unity has definitely potential and already makes you want more.
But because it Verbugt, Verglitcht is so simple and looks just unfinished passes a fast pleasure it !!!! The simply destroyed the whole atmosphere in the game and also the details Give me just missing here is you get used differently from other parts of Assassins. At least not as bad as in this extent.
I give the two stars for the story, co-op and the upgrade options in the game and for the pocket.
I only give all the stars if you should get the bug, glitch and texture problem with patches to grips with what will but I doubt at least 100% for all the problems the game has to time.
So if you're a fan of this game series, it's hard not to pick this offshoot particularly as this is the first Assassin's title for the next-gen console. To require the other hand, 70 euros for an unfinished game is already an impertinence. In the current state it should cost a maximum of 40 euros then it would at least for the price range Okay but would not it be okay for a title Assassins (From the looks and the mistakes here.)
So everyone needs to know whether he accepts it anyway, or rather can not touch it myself !!!
