As probably the most who call this album her own, had even the first time I heard of Ed Sheeran as his song "The A Team" was on the radio.
After weeks of guesswork, who now is this incredibly great singer, I have at some point but still found via the internet, that this is Ed Sheeran.
The album was then heard by the Internet quickly and I was so excited that I could not wait there until it is finally going was posted times in Germany. A few weeks ago it was finally time, and since it runs nonstop.
Almost every song is great. Very fast songs will you search in vain though, but that's not bad at all. The songs are mostly just kept quiet. One might therefore think that the songs are quite monotonous but thus would have, but far from it.
It has a bell-clear voice, which seems to have neither deep nor high tones problems. He also mastered the beatboxing and quick Chanting, he can always skillfully and not to present flow into the ballads.
Because of all this, I would stamp his music also less than Pop, despite yet so soulful songs. I'd put his unmistakable style direction with indie influence more in the singer / songwriter. Whereby the times just is not possible, because the other notified above style elements, even folk and soul can be found. And the handsome British accent of each song a bit embellished must also not be forgotten.
He's incredibly talented and shoveled his way without having to resort to things like talent shows itself upwards. For his just 21 years, he has already got off to a fairly steep climb. Even though I still find the extra euros for 4 songs quite steep, so the Deluxe version is always worthwhile, because these 4 songs are among my absolute favorites, the good are the same as the album itself, if not better.
01. The A Team (10/10)
Even after what felt like the hundredth time listening to I like it even more like the first day. Sounds of the song but so harmonious, it is almost a shock that it thereby which funded by a homeless young girl, his drug addiction by prostitution.
02. Drunk (10/10)
A slightly faster number of the album that made me especially with this, well I call it now times "two-part" has part very pleased. Whoever hears the song will surely understand what I mean.
03. UNI (9/10)
No it is not about a university, but UNI (You And I). The verses I like better than the chorus.

Here it's the other way around. Here I like the chorus better, even very good. Also, I find the lyrics very nice.

Beautiful ballad. Verses are a bit strange, but after listening several times, also this song is burning in the head

Start getting used to. But if you have heard is hot, it can be quite like. Not the best song of the album, yet it did to me the chorus, especially the first two lines (verses?).
09. Lego House (10/10)
The second song, which I heard from him. Just great. Has inspired me from the beginning. The video with Rupert Grint, in which the Harry Potter actor mimes a crazy fan with stalkerischen skills is very well done.
10. You Need Me, I Do not Need You (9.5 / 10)
Melody is very catchy and it stays there. Even though I could not place at the beginning of which came my song catchy.
11. Kiss Me (10/10)
With the most beautiful song of the album. Eerie quiet, eerily moving, incredibly relaxing. Is one of those songs in which the interplay between deft melody, skillful use of instruments and his voice just enough so that I was so calm and thoughtful, that I had tears in my eyes.
12. Give Me Love (10/10)
Admittedly, at the beginning of the song is the first few times hear not stuck. But after a few times it has arrived. Chorus and verse, just great. Personally, I find this otherwise end very nice, although it is certainly not to everyone's liking. That with these deep polyphonic singing and Ed apparently desperate call ... very nice.
The Hidden Track from 5:49 I have not yet given so much attention (just because I always forget it's there). But 'The Parting Glass' is not true as my taste. Reminds me of a song that I do not like, but can not identify what it is. Therefore, it is usually advanced.
13 Autumn Leaves (10/10) (Bonus)
It's a pity that it has such a song "only" managed to Deluxe. If the chorus but with the reassuring / most touching thing I've heard in a long time. Absolutely beautiful to dream and continuing desire.
14. Little Bird (10/10) (Bonus)
My personal favorite. It is very friendly and cheerful and the 'Beat' invites you to move. Even though I find it somewhat strange that it comes that Sheerans girlfriend found an injured bird and wants doctoring him, but he himself leaves him to die outside. It is then mad and he wants to make amends.
15. Gold Rush (9/10) (Bonus)
Runs with me always meant that I head bobbing comic right and left. Well certainly was not intended, but the melody is just very mitwipperich.
16 Sunburn (9.5 / 10) (Bonus)
Were rightly remarks also only the third time. Seems the beginning quite normal and to be quiet, so the song developed into something that I just love. The further the song, the better I like it.
