Anticipation of who the i9100G has no problems, the barely used it, or use it only in the factory setting status without any additional apps. I (ie the original) had initially implemented an i9100 and was completely satisfied until I had an intervening water damage. The insurance replacement unit was a "G" model and thus began the drama. All here to read problems appeared gradually on with me, what inspired me at a conversion. I got back a G-model and the update to Android 2.3.6 (LB1) verschlimmbesserte the situation even further. I had up to 6 !!! PIN prompts per day without there was a restart. The S2 said no Mux. This is simply unacceptable. After complaining I now got a new S2 i9100 from March 2012. !!! and I am fully satisfied again. Now there is no more and everything is as it should be problems.
My advice to all is, therefore, important to insist on a i9100, unless SAMSUNG has any issues with Android 4.0.3 for the G-model eliminated, although it technically is just not as good.
Just look at the differences and you will find the same in the G-model graphics unit (PowerVR SGX540) is installed as the old Galaxy S, only just slightly overclocked. I'd already seen as a "scam".
