With Humbug, the band of Alex Turner gave new resonance to the music of Arctic Monkeys. The change concerns the case of music, silkier, more upscale than the first two albums. It goes on the side of The Last Shadow Puppets, or even Franz Ferdinand (Domino Label as well). So Alex Turner crooner? Not yet, but the road to an assumed maturity that makes lunch for troublemakers who were the Arctic Monkeys in their infancy. The album is extremely powerful with hits that keep coming. No loss of power and rhythmic variations only underscore the Group's ability to navigate all the flows. Their talent is just amazing, the instrumental mastery with perfect arrangements. It is rare to say a pop band, the sound of the drums is unique. Here, this is the case. Also for guitars that combine, mix and rush like the wind along the cliffs to the point of making you lose balance. A masterful album of a great rock band.
