I'll bet that everyone knows: Somewhere behind cabinets, under furniture, behind beds or beside desks electricity is needed, but the space is too tight for normal grounding outlet. What would be bad even further, because it is supposed to only one lamp or a USB charger or a clock radio are connected, which would only need a Euro-socket.
And what sell all established manufacturers? Schuko power strips, if you're lucky that you can double use with Euro plugs when you unlucky ones that are two-sided usable and therefore need more space ...
Finally a manufacturer has mercy and developed this power strip, the first only in white (www.Amazon.com/gp/product/B00406W0VC) was to get, and now finally is also available in black! It is just two cm wide and fits almost anywhere underneath or beside or behind!
Advantages and disadvantages:
++ Minimum possible dimensions
++ Installed child safety
++ Port of the bar by contour plug into Schuko-size (4 x 2.5A require greater contact pins)
++ Loop at the right angle plug for easy removal (!)
+ Halfway useful kink protection
+ Sufficiently long cable
Housing made kratzempfindlichem hard plastic is supplied ready scratched
Sockets * very * difficult to move (wg. Parental Control)
No mounting options (tabs, eyelet, holes)
If such a bar would now provided even with a couple of transverse holes, so that you can attach it somewhere, or at least one Schraublasche at the ends, then they would be just about perfect. Also, the housing should calm consist of impact-resistant material, because I'm assuming that it breaks relatively easily. Of course I did not try ...
Nevertheless, this bar I would buy immediately!
