Who needs to touch a lot professionally (or even private) who have to look at this keyboard. I have now beaten ten years a Logitech Wireless Combo Keyboard (film) typed that I previously thought not so bad. Lately it has however become very shaky. As I type a lot, I read a long time on the net to the reports on keyboards with mechanical switches and was interested in the IBM model M remakes, eg Unicomp. More than 100 euros I had then only for a keyboard but too expensive. At some point I noticed that these expensive Tip boards Cherry switches use - just like this nice keyboard, which I have just under your fingers and see the displayed her up. And - what can I say - what all write about the switches true: An incredibly good typing feel: A precise stop against which you immediately get used to, as a four-finger typist. In addition, the keyboard is not nearly as loud as I had feared after various reports: The volume is indeed higher than the clatter of my old keypad, except that instead of just rattling a rich Click is now heard. You get used to so quickly to the attack that a quick tap triggers immediately the question on my old keyboard: How could I bear it with the thing so long? Someone wrote in his review that apart from the Cherry switches the keyboard housing THAT CONDITION cheap. It must be said here: First, that what you have under your fingers - so the buttons together switches - looks very solid. And the rest does not look cheap, but is a solid, no-frills plastic housing that does not rattle or creaks. Okay, the feet that can fold out to ensure that the keyboard is behind increases seem to me to be a weak point; but you must always keep in mind: You get the Cherry MX comfort for under 60 euros here instead of with all the advertised as a 'cult' IBM Model M remakes of well over 100 euros. Made is the thing (at least my) in the Czech Republic.
Conclusion: Buy! I can not understand at all, that hardly anyone seems to care for good keyboards, because otherwise everyone would set for this comparatively low price this board take any cheap Dinger. Also: I had previously so a wireless, but the cord is really bothering now not.
Finally, a note for all macuser: I changed recently on the Mac and run this keyboard on my (bought second-hand) Macbook White from 2006. I change when working but between a virtual Windows and the Mac OS X interface ( Snow Leopard); I would have also liked to put on me a stylish aluminum Mac keyboard, but that is just a toy: too short key drop and no solid mechanics (and costs the same as the Cherry!). Keys default which is also under the Mac no problem, because you get used to after a while (but will take a few weeks) so tuned that it eventually blind know that the Windows key on the cmd key corresponds, etc. In addition, the Windows occupancy a advantage when between the virtual Windows and Apple back and alternates. I have always suspected that Apple all these oddities (mouse had for years only one button CMD instead of Windows key, etc.) only maintains to force a, re accustomed, so that one no longer comes out afterwards from the Golden Apple cage.
