Ideal for hearing bad ...

I never bought the hard drive manufacturer before but I would have done better to abstain. Indeed, to summarize, I can give it as defects. Yet marketing and "word of mouth" made it a rave without limits ...

* The sound of running INFERNAL and OBSESSIVE! It's simple, it beats all records on the subject. I installed almost all brands of hard drives on the market but NO has never MUCH noise. Arguably HITACHI's really the champion because we only hear it! If you thought your PC keep running at night in your room with this drive, it is missed. Insured sleepless nights!

* The incessant access (redundant) and the SAME UNEXPLAINED trays when there is no activity at the pc. It's really heavy, or obsessive as already stated before.

* Mean REALLY performance. Other cheaper hard drives are much more swift.

* Exorbitant price compared to the qualities IF they exist. As for me, there exists NO.

I specify that ALL brand discs (except 2.5) suffer from the same symptoms.

In short, stay away from that manufacturer (at least for its hard drives in 3.5) and turn to or better MAXTOR WESTERN DIGITAL (if you can still get in).
