It takes a lot of moisture, to get it once completely wet (I still have not managed ... there even enough for me and toddler to dry). After it dries quite quickly and also gives a not so heavy, moist lumps like a normal towel. Loss of comfort during drying (cuddle factor) are mandatory in microfiber.
I was a little afraid that I get goose bumps, like the touch of some sponges or microfibre polishing cloths (Car Care). But that was not the case. Since feeling is quite pleasant. But please do not expect the cotton feeling.
The 24 expensive and 40cm shorter Gelert cloth (antibacterial / non-washable) I have reviewed in direct comparison with 3 stars. After 1 week of use I see no quality differences that justify twice the price. The seams at Gelert see uniform / quality of. Whether it actually makes a noticeable difference in the long run, I'll possibly grudge.
Today, the Pearl Cloth cost you no more but just 12.90 9. Since you can access carefree. Much less has 40x60cm (manufacturer unknown) not tasted my test cloth McTrek.
